Personal Experience & Biography

Nashwa Tantawy is a CDA Licensed Professional Psychologist, Researcher, and Speaker with 15 years of experience in psychotherapy, mentorship, and technology field. Nashwa specializes in helping Adolescents, Adults, and Couples with a diversity of disorders and life challenges in Egypt and the UAE.

She is a Master’s degree holder in Counseling Psychology from The American University in Cairo where she has received her education and training by western educated high-profile practitioners.

Nashwa Tantawy is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and an Executive committee member of the Middle East Psychological Association (MEPA)

Over the course of her career, Nashwa has been offering psychotherapy for clients from over 150 diverse nationalities in private practice, academic and organizational settings in Egypt and UAE. And as a believer in human uniqueness, she is tailoring her therapy model to the most effective, individualized need of her clients with a focus on client-centered and research-based therapy models.

Over the last decade, Nashwa has gained extensive experience helping healthy individuals and couples manage life challenges and find purpose and passion. And she has had experience mentoring and consulting executives and clients in corporate workplace on work-related challenges and mental well-being.

She is a researcher in the field of psychology; she presented her work about Personality Assessments, Borderline Personality Disorder challenges and Domestic Violence at several conferences including MEPA Annual Conference and Expo, and International Psychology Conference Dubai (IPCD). Moreover, She was the Head of Research in Psychology at Oceain.ai Digital company conducting research on the organizational psychology field. 

Nashwa Tantawy is a speaker and workshop instructor for individuals and corporates. She is sharing her knowledge about mental health and the psychology field through seminars, sessions, talks, webinars and workshops. She conducted her sessions with several entities including both government and private sector.
